Cacao is something that many, many chocolate lovers are missing out on!
Cocoa and cacao are not the same.
Although, Cocoa wants to be just like cacao someday…
Cacao powder is from the bean of a cacao tree. It is loaded with copper and manganese.
Manganese plays a vital role in calcium absorption, blood sugar regulation, bone health, and brain and nerve function.

I used a dehydrator for my mangos but it does take a good bit of time. If you buy dried – raw mangos at the grocery store, those are wonderful as well!

IF you get a sweet tooth, and want a decadent summer dessert:
Organic dried Mangos
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup cacao butter
1/2 tsp Vanilla
pinch of sea salt
2 tbsp Agave Nectar (more if you like it sweet).
Directions:
Melt the cacao butter over low heat.
Add the cacao powder, vanilla and agave nectar
Add salt at the end. It really brings out the flavor of the homemade chocolate.
Dip the mangos in the chocolate
place mangos on parchment and put them in the freezer for 3o minutes
